Artist's Comments

This is a piece I did exclusively for my friend David, it is the first of two pieces he wishes to own of mine for his living room wall. Can't get much more flattering than that. This one is the print, another will be a painting.

I am 5'8" and not nearly good enough at doing a back bend to warrant taking freakin pictures of it. My shoulders don't work right :/

You gotta strike when the iron is hot. Otherwise, you're just some idiot banging on a chunk of metal.

Love the art, before yourself.
god that's freaky. Great job :)
thats really cool
Removing your head adds an oddly natural symmetry to the whole picture. I dare say that I did not realize until looking at this picutre that the head generally interrupts an otherwise continuous line that the body creates in this position. To put it another way, it is the one object that doesn't fit, but it never occured to me to think that because when the head is there, it's always the first thing I focus on.

I'm also very fond of this particular artificial lighting and coloring scheme that you've come up with.

The combination of these two abnormalities makes me feel like I'm looking at some kind of Salvador Dali rendition, except in photo form, which just makes it that much more fun to look at.

I'm sure that all sounded extremely pretentious but, eh, at least I got to speak my mind. :-)

I really love this picture.
